TTC Lines Part 39: Bessarion

Line 4 has some of the least used stations on the TTC. The lack of people in these grandiosely designed stations gives a cavernous feel to the platforms.

Every so often the trains will come into the station, stopping briefly to open and close their doors without a single person stepping on or off.

However, people can be found in the station's photographic murals.

Created by artist Sylvie Belanger, Passing seems to have a motif of anonymity through its depiction of TTC passengers. While Belanger shows us the legs, feet, and backs of heads from a diverse group of people, few faces are seen.

The next station is Bayview.
