TTC Lines Part 32: Lawrence East

I have a very limited experience with the Scarborough Line of the TTC. Prior to this photo series, I had a only taken Line 3 once before — a trip back from a shoot in Scarborough.

While still following its own pattern, the design of these stations are a breath of fresh air from many of the uniformly designed stations on the Bloor-Danforth Line. All of the stations on the Scarborough Line are above ground and have a curved window pattern

The open design is great for creating these kinds of dramatic sillhouettes.

Also somewhat dramatic, this underground passage to the opposite platform.

I was expecting the Scarborough stations to be tiny, but they proved to be quite spacious.

The next station is Ellesmere.
