TTC Lines Part 10: Lansdowne

For an ordinary looking subway station, Lansdowne has quite the shady reputation.

Much of this reputation comes from claims that the area is frequented by unsavoury characters, particularly crack-dealers at the Coffee Time across the street from the station.

It should be noted that the above link is to a community blog post that is a decade old, so take the information with an extreme grain of salt.

The station itself feels quite bare with only a few advertisements and automatic fare gates.

Something you often see at TTC fare gates -- out of service PRESTO gates with doors wide open. It's a fare evader's dream.

The next station is Dufferin.
