TTC Lines Part 64: Eglinton West
Eglinton West Station is best seen during the day with plenty of sunlight.
The station's many windows serve as an excellent lighting source for the two massive murals on both sides of the platform.
The structure of the platform is built within a trench of the surrounding area, so the light coming in from the sides never gets too harsh.
With both trains and people getting in my way, it was a bit of a wait to get this head-on shot of the mural.
Similar to St. Clair West and Dupont, Eglinton West also has a passageway that overlooks the trains coming in and out. These seem to be recurring elements on this end of Line 1 -- I'll call them viewing platforms for now.
The next station is Glencairn.
